Eighty Sita Productions is seeking an experienced publicist to join the team and lead the promotion effort of the fully completed feature-length documentary 'Rave on for the Avon'.

This Bristol-made and women-led documentary is centred around the stories of local people whose lives are intertwined with Bristol and Bath's Avon River and the campaigners trying to protect it - in spectacular Bristolian fashion.

As you may have heard, thanks to a recent Guardian report, multiple outlets' front pages or sewage appearing on your doorstep, England's rivers are experiencing a major sewage crisis. The nation has recently set its eyes on this issue, so this independent and community-supported feature has experienced a significant wave of attention we could not have anticipated.

The 'cosy' premiere, intended for the local community, became an audience of 300, even selling standing tickets after running out of chairs. It's been booked to screen at Bristol's largest cinema screen, the former IMAX cinema, which is still tucked away in Bristol Aquarium despite closing in 2011 and is selling tickets fast. We've also had offers to screen at several local cinemas.

We're doing our best to land a fair, supportive distributor that shares our cause. Part of that effort is to make a big splash and get as much positive attention as possible. We would love to hear from you if you share our passion and have experience in this area.
