Musician / Composer

The Role

We’re looking for a composer / musician to collaborate with our director and producer on a female-led action short filmed in 2024. The project combines sharp, physical choreography with playful, comedic undertones, and we’re seeking someone who can create a dynamic score that enhances both the tension and the humour. An interest or experience in action-comedy, rhythm-driven scoring, or character-based themes is a plus.

Logline

Two women engage in a visceral battle, and the surprisingly everyday reason behind their intense clash is revealed.

How we collaborate

This project is part of Hightail Entertainment's Open Collaborations programme. Our film collaborations bring together a full cast and crew of talented individuals who are all working to increase their skills and showreels. As a part of each collaboration, you’ll get to experience:

Our productions are not paid for anyone, including producers and directors. We appreciate that these collaborations are not right for established industry professionals, and are instead for new talents who want to learn and grow together, in a well-funded and high-quality environment.
