"Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" meets "The Muppets".

Hello creatives,

I have been working on short films for the past few years and have recently wrapped up my latest production. I'm now looking to move onto something quite outside the box.

I have created a concept for a YouTube series that combines both puppets and people and a way that could be described as the popular series Don't Hug Me I'm Scared meets The Muppets. The new generation of viewers are big fans of finding and uncovering cryptic lore and easter eggs rather than the story being given to them directly - just look at the success of Welcome Home, which was only a website! This is exactly what I had in mind when developing MFALL.

MFALL is formatted like a 60s/70s TV show, with its cast being Mama Fifi (human) and her daughter Lil Lulu (Puppet). Each episode is expected to be within 2-3 minutes long (tbd). With each episode, different childrens-show scenarios are presented such as "arts and crafts" or "baking". The set is highly saturated and colourful, along with the attire and personality of the cast.

MFALL is a horror/analogue mystery experience. Within each episode lies secrets and easter eggs that the audience must decode and unravel over time to find out the truly dark story behind FiFi and LuLu. This will come in a variety of forms including single frame shots, reversed audio, metaphorical imagery, certain word choices, lost episodes, flashbacks etc. (tbd).

This is a dark, twisted story directed at teen to young adult audiences to get their teeth sunk into. A dark lore to uncover is right up this generation's street!

If the sound of MFALL interests you then please do express interest in the relevant role - I'll be happy to send you the full pitch sheet.
