A low-budget, monologue focused micro-short film is looking for two actors to fill the cast. Both roles are paid slightly above NMW, and food and expenses will be provided on the shooting day. We are looking to shoot somewhere in the Bristol & Bath area for one day in very late May/early June.

Dramatic Monologue exploring emotional instability and toxic masculinity - Some makeup required.

After a particularly triggering event, Saul is forced to re-examine his own psyche and his relationship with his wife.

Saul: (Male - playing age 25+)

A once successful and optimistic middle-class man, Saul’s tumultuous and toxic relationship with his wife has ground him down into bitter resentment. After a triggering incident, Saul’s anger has erupted in a most catastrophic and irreversible way.

IMPORTANT: The role will require you to memorise a 1-and-a-half page monologue. Many full run-throughs of this monologue are to be expected. A rehearsal date is also necessary for the role.
