The story is a take on the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood in a contemporary setting and deals with Alzheimer's and greed portrayed by Mrs Woolfe the social worker. Little Red visits her grandmother one day when school is closed for inset day. She encounters her grandmother being exploited by a horrid nurse and social worker. Mrs Woolfe who did not know of her existence plots to get rid of the little girl and persuades her husband to act like a wolf in the woods and scare her. Meanwhile she tries to get Granny to sign all her worldly goods over to her n a new will. Will Little Red survive, can she outwit her enemies and alert her mum to Grandma's increasing vulnerability to these people and her deep need for better care now that her Alzheimer's is getting worse.
