An insight into Nairobi and living with con and corruption from the perspective of one victim who gangs up with her friends to get justice on their own terms.
Sasha gets conned by one Mrs. Mwaniki in a classic Nairobi con when she tries to move house. She tells her friends who make it sound like it's just how things go in this town, but someone steps in and suggests they take some action, starting their journey by going to the police.
Quite quickly, though, the four friends find themselves tangled up in a world of corruption, power and influence, and at some point, have their lives threatened for messing with the wrong people.
The only way to get justice in this city, it seems, is to take matters into your own hands and outsmart the culprits.
