Synopsis
Brittany (early-30s) is moving house. Throughout the day, Brittany exchanges phone calls with friends and family discussing plans, relationships, memories, inside jokes, and dreams. Each conversation reflects the warmth and love that surround her.
During these conversations, we learn that Brittany is in the early stages of serious illness. She faces her condition with a blend of humour, positivity, and acceptance. Her older sister playfully remarks that Brittany has ten good years left, a joke that reflects their open, transparent approach to her diagnosis. The gravity of Brittany's situation remains understated, focusing on her vibrant interactions and strong connections with loved ones.
"Moving On" is an exploration of love, friendship, community, and the strength found in vulnerability. It is a near-realtime glimpse into a courageous woman's journey through the twilight of her independence.

The Role
We're looking for a tech savvy director to operate our 2nd unit, which only consists of voiceover for phone calls, recorded live with the main actor. Your role will involve:
- Working with apps to achieve high-quality recordings of all phone conversations in the story.
- Troubleshooting any technical problems on the day.
- Coordinating via WhatsApp with all voice actors before shooting starts, to ensure that their phones are ready and they're in a quiet location.
- Coordinating via WhatsApp with the production team, to signal when voice actors are ready to make calls.

Inspired by the films Coherence (2013) and Blue Jay (2016), the production will follow a story outline, with more information revealed throughout the day, and almost entirely improvised dialogue.
