Call for Feature Scripts [Horror]

We’re seeking elevated, intelligent horror screenplays across any subgenre. Feature-length (90+ mins). No excessive gore. Strong preference for psychological horror over slashers, for example. Think Hereditary, Heretic, Saint Maud, and The Witch.

How to Submit [Please Read Carefully!]

Email info@alttproductions.com with ONE script per email. Subject line: "Script Submission" with the title. Include:

• Logline
• Synopsis
• "X meets X" hook
• Count of locations and primary cast
• Confirmation that a full script is ready to send, if requested.

Important: Do not send a full script or attachment with your first email. Emails with attachments will not be opened.

We are only accepting submissions from screenwriters. Directors and other roles, please do not apply.

Your Role and Compensation

We are obsessive creatives, looking for someone who can match our energy and come on board as a collaborator. If selected, you will be working alongside our internal team of writers and producers to develop the project.

We are on track to secure sufficient funding to cover production costs (props, set materials, key locations, etc) and expenses (food, travel, etc). We are prioritising these necessary costs to ensure a studio-quality film as well as a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable on-set experience for all.

We are seeking collaborators who are willing and able to invest their time by deferring full, market rate payment until the film's sale. All deferred fees will be paid in full after sale of the film, plus a significant percentage uplift and backend points. Remaining profit will be funnelled back into the studio and used to fund future projects. All collaborators, including producers, are on the same terms.

All agreements will be safeguarded by comprehensive legal contracts and transparent record keeping.
