I started working in the industry in 1993 as a runner then lighting console operator at one of the biggest TV Studios in London (Fountain Television), before leaving to join one of the smallest in the UK (Channel Television) to train as a cameraman and VT editor. I went freelance in 2001 back on "the mainland" and still love the fun, challenges and unpredictability the job brings as much now as I did when I started out.
I’ve had the chance to work on some fantastic projects during my career, covering anything from light entertainment, documentaries, major sporting events, corporates to news delivering to national and global audiences. I come equipped with full EFP HD kit, and 4 years ago invested in a polecam jib for that extra production value - see short promo below. Polecam can either be provided as a cost effective add-on to a shoot, or I can be hired standalone as an owner/operator. I also specialise in boat-to-boat filming and helicopter aerials, mainly from shooting professional sailing events.
I enjoy shooting factual entertainment programmes and also particularly keen to be given new opportunities to expand further into music promos, OB work and drama.
