Rakesh Jaitly grew up in the south of Croydon, United Kingdom. He began making videos at age 11, becoming serious at the age of 17 when making music videos for local bands. He has a degree in BSc Psychology, but has been actively filmmaking throughout his studies. His inspirations include Derek Cianfrance, The Coen Brothers, and Wes Anderson.
