We Do Recover

We Do Recover is a two act play written by Markkus Garvey-Trew. It tells the story of Emma, a girl with a troubled past who needs to face up to life and her addiction. She meets Ryan in treatment but, when they begin a relationship that threatens their recovery, they're both confronted with the serious consequences.

Blue Sky produced the premier of We Do Recover, in Weston-super-Mare, and worked with Markkus to bring the script to its final draft. Rehearsals developed over the course of a year with a talented cast, mostly in recovery.
