We are shooting a short comedic video for social media and festivals in Poole, Dorset next month for Valentines Day. The project is a collaboration between 'The Shouting Mute' (poet, writer and activist) and filmmaker Ciaran Parsons, who works for Woolly Dream Productions.
This is a paid role, for 3 -4 hours work in the afternoon plus expenses. We are looking for three actresses to play the role of Samantha, Katie and Chantelle. Please send a self tape, any format will do (even your phone) reading the audition as either Samantha, Katie or Chantelle. You can apply for more than one role.
The story is about three separate dates, with the same disabled person, who is a wheelchair user. He communicates via his eye gaze computer. His attempts to be quirky sometimes fail and sometimes make us laugh, it's trial and error every time, until he finds his perfect match in the end.
SAMANTHA

Samantha is an independent business woman who is strong willed, hard working, open minded yet sensitive with a good sense of humour. She has been very unlucky in love because deep down beneath her hard exterior she is always a good person.

KATIE
We are looking for a local actress who wants to add something to her showreel. Katie is an alternative punk type with a strong sense of social justice. She is easily offended and has built her destiny on fighting against the establishment. We are looking for an actress who likes a challenge and can bring something to the role; we encourage that.
CHANTELLE
We are looking for a local actress who wants to add something to her showreel. Chantelle is a locally famous tick tock live girl with more than 232 followers. She is trying out the dating scene for herself and her followers. Easily bored and often caring too much about her appearance. But also open minded. We are looking for an actress who likes a challenge and can bring something to the role; we encourage that.
