Motion Graphics Artist / Graphic Designer

This role is for the independent film 'Translations'. While an indie production and passion project, the film has a talented cast and crew attached, starring Kate Morgan-Jones and Alan Emrys. The film will also be the debut feature film of multi-award-winning director Keith Wilhelm Kopp. Production has now wrapped and the film has recently entered the final stages of post-production.

The team working on Translations, is seeking a motion graphics artist to join the project. A creative who could assist with designing and animating the first and last things the audience will see. This includes the title card, some location cards during the film and the closing credit graphics, suitable for a cinema-sized display. Assisting with the design of the text for some subtitled sequences would also be appreciated.

The role is unpaid, however, we can offer to cover any expenses, alongside a feature film credit and any social media promotion that the film and crew pages could generate. If you'd like to join the project, have any questions or have any input, please express interest in this role!

Elements:

The Film's Title:

The handwritten title in Welsh, Cyfieithiadau, changing into the English title, Translations. Around 3 seconds long.

Time/Location:

A few text-based titles during the film, to be the same font or style as the rest of the film.

Subtitles:

Design for the font/typography to match the same style as the other text designs.

Closing Credits Graphics:

The initial closing credit graphics, before the rolling credits begin.
