Prelude (Short film, 2017)
Prelude explores the rollercoaster of emotions leading to the decision to confront an abuser 29 years later.
Prelude is a part of a follow up film ByChance are producing this year. We are working with an excellent script and have already attached some great key talent. Double BAFTA winner Dan Jones (The Hollow Crown, Any Human Heart) is scoring the piece. Principle photography will take place in Bath on 23-24th Oct. The film is about a women who suffered sexual abuse when she was 10 years old. Prelude is set 29 years later and explores the rollercoaster of emotions leading to the decision to confront her abuser.
We are looking for a 1st AD who can manage a crew of 8 and one actor over a 2 day shoot in one location. We would also ask that they were present for production meetings in the week leading up to the shoot.
Previous work as a 1st would be preferred but not essential. Experience on set and an understanding of the role is a must.
