Thorns features a dysfunctional family as they meet their greatest challenge yet, the impending apocalypse. The characters are forced to confront each other and the tension in their relationships is only amplified as the infectious vines that initiated the virus rapidly approach their door.

Thorns explores cyclical abuse, generational trauma, mental health and opens a conversation about the devastating effects of raising a child in an unhealthy environment through the lens of the zombie horror genre.
