With street photography there is always another character in the frame - the discipline itself.
IN THIS TEASER
Msingi Sasis || Nairobi Noir || combined his background in film and journalism and in 2012 began documenting the dangerous streets of Nairobi, Kenya, at night.
Misingi knows first hand the seductive thrills of the discipline as a friend and teacher but also the high costs. He has been made homeless and mistakenly arrested on suspicion of terrorism reconnaissance in pursuit of his work.
It was only due to the campaigning of friends and photographers online that he was released.
