Hi, Tabb community!

I'm David Niven and I run and host The Social World Podcast. A long-running audio series to educate and share information on protecting the vulnerable, social policy and care.

I’ve been involved in safeguarding and social work for many years and have seen triumphs and disasters. It’s a huge subject and there’s plenty to talk about.

After 10+ years and 167 episodes, I've decided that now's the time to try and turn this personal passion project into a genuine force for good.

My podcasts discuss all aspects of the social world including: Human trafficking, modern slavery, online danger to children, social care, media management, safeguarding, social media and more. We've had guests from across the globe who are working to improve the lives of children and vulnerable individuals.

The roles I've posted here on Tabb are those I feel that the series would benefit from the most but would love to hear others who believe they assist in any way. Be it to join the team or a video call where I can ask questions and get some advice from those with experience.

Despite running the series for so long, my tech knowledge is limited and I have no skills in editing. And I'm aware I've left a huge gap by not producing any promotional or video content.
