The Secret Castle (Short film, 2023)

For this university project, we were set the task of creating a 'hybrid film', which combined elements of different styles and genres. The end result is this piece which explores the historical legends of Castell Coch in Tongwynlais, Cardiff. Presented in the form of a documentary, the film is inspired heavily by gothic horror, and uses sketch drawings to both bookend each segment and provide reconstructions of some events.
