PQA Weston-super-Mare are hiring an exceptional Comedy and Drama Teacher!

PQA, the new generation of weekend performing arts academies set up by actress, Pauline Quirke, are currently recruiting a dynamic Comedy and Drama Teacher in Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset.

The successful candidate will work with our amazing students, aged from 6 to 18 years at our weekend performing arts academy in Weston-super-Mare.

Brilliant, inspirational and energetic, your in-depth knowledge of performing, theatre, drama, comedy and acting, will ignite passion in the hearts and minds of the young people who attend our academy. You will create and plan fun, engaging and educational lessons, lead students through Trinity exams, direct shows and inspire young minds.

We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, committed, fun, creative, hard-working, a team-player who enjoys collaboration, is full of energy, has clear communication skills and has the ability to use their own initiative.

Applicants must have experience and an interest in both, professional performance and working with children and young people aged 6-18.

The successful candidate will be required to work every Saturday (9:30am – 1pm) during term time. Candidates must be aged 18+

All staff are required to obtain an Enhanced DBS and complete all relevant training.
