11 year old Kieran is navigating a new world with new people, trying to save his brother, and eventually deciding his future.
Lord Addika is the current ruler of Terreth, he is also the guardian of the heir-in-waiting Eleanor. Addika was Lord Counsel to the ruler of Terreth, who died young and without heir. Addika led a coup to take the throne. Addika then continued to build his army called the Iron Fist to “protect the island of Terreth and Brin from invaders”. He is the antagonist of the story.
