A contemporary reimagining of Tagore Rabindranath's Shapmochan - exploring love, beauty, identity and transformation
The Tagore Trilogy is a three-film project bringing Rabindranath Tagore’s stories into contemporary international cinema, while retaining their emotional and philosophical core.
The first film, Soul Bound, is a contemporary reimagining of Tagore’s Shapmochan, exploring love, beauty, identity and transformation.
The film will be rooted in the UK, with Bristol, Bath and London forming its primary locations.
We want the film to feel distinctly international in its visual language, while allowing these cities to become an integral part of its world.
