Ephemeral (Feature film)
An arthouse drama portraying body dysmorphia, binge eating, self-acceptance.
This project is produced by Ephemeral Productions Ltd, co-production of Blue Metaphor Ltd and La Ferrarra Productions.
The proof of concept has already successfully premiered.
For our feature "Ephemeral", we are looking for the head of the sound department, ideally someone who has at least two feature credits in the same role.
The ideal candidate would be London or Bristol based.
Responsabilities
Pre-production:
- Plan the sound recording approach, including equipment needs, and collaborates with the director and other crew members to determine the best methods for capturing sound.
On-set recording:
- Manage the sound team (boom operators, etc.)
- Operate the recording equipment, and ensures clean and high-quality audio capture
Post-production:
- Create a production mix that is used during post-production, potentially including the final mix.
Equipment and logistics:
- Manage all aspects of the sound equipment, including ordering, preparing, and ensuring proper setup for the production.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with other crew members, including the composer and other team members present in post
