1st Assistant Director

Hollyoaks is is excited to announce that we have a rare opportunity for a 1st Assistant Director to join our production team in Liverpool. We are looking for an individual with an in depth understanding of TV production and it’s fast paced nature; so proven experience working as 1st Assistant Director or experience in a similar role in television is essential.

We need someone who will create and encourage a positive and conducive environment for all Artistes and crew on set. You will be responsible for creating and managing the shoot schedule and supervising the cast and crew, you will co-ordinate all production activity on set and be the critical communication link between the Director, crew, cast and the production office. Excellent communication and organisational skills are therefore a necessity, along with a compassionate, approachable manner and the ability to be assertive when required.
