A film created entirely by 16-17 year-olds, Private Peaceful is a film-adaptation of one of Michael Morpurgo's beloved novels.
In 2016, film-maker Samuel Irens was set upon adapting Michael Morpurgo's beloved novel - "Private Peaceful" - into a film. The result was almost two years of hard-work done by a huge variety of 16-17 year-olds.
From the creation of a WW1 trench all the way to the cast (that amazingly stuck with the project throughout all of the inevitable high's and lows), the ambitious project is the result of a group of teenagers wanting nothing more than to experiment within the medium of film and story-telling.
