Join Panto, a mime performer, on his journey through a park to meet the girl of his dreams, and the misfortunes he encounters along the way.
Panto is a timid but well-intended mime artist who wishes to be accepted and taken seriously by his community. When a wishing well grants him the magical power to make his invisible environment come to life, he tries to prove his worth by taking down bullies and showing off to strangers in the park. Panto will learn that it’s not his powers that give him purpose, but the respect and connection from the people who love him for who he is.
In this homage to the silent era of comedies, this romantic comedy will explore the misadventures of a mime and his journey of falling in love and doing the right thing.
Daisy is enigmatic and portrays herself as a free spirit, but she is very dependant on her relationship to her boyfriend, Biff. Biff is a toxic partner who doesn’t consider her wants or needs, and unfortunately, Daisy blames herself for the issues and doesn’t have the confidence to end the relationship. She will be conflicted when she spends time with panto, a kind soul who treats her with kindness and respect. Daisy will explore if she has the courage to end things with Biff and embrace the connection with Panto.
As this is a student production, we will only be able to cover transport fees and provide catering on the shoot days.
