My Dear Alora (Short film, 2023)
Alora's final wish is to perform her solo at the dance recital. But with her illness getting worse, and her competition closing in, will she get the chance.
I wanted to create a film that has to do with dance, it has been one of my passions and this film shows losing a loved one which many people must have experienced this. l want to create a heartfelt film for all the mother and daughter can able see themselves as the people in the film.
Filming taking place over about 3 days between 17th of April and 7th of May.
Mania is Alora's devoted mother. She is still coming to terms with Alora's terminal diagnosis and her inner battle; to keep her safe as long as possible, or to let Alora have her final wish.
