My Dear Alora (Short film, 2023)
Alora's final wish is to perform her solo at the dance recital. But with her illness getting worse, and her competition closing in, will she get the chance.
I wanted to create a film that has to do with dance, it has been one of my passions and this film shows losing a loved one which many people must have experienced this. l want to create a heartfelt film for all the mother and daughter can able see themselves as the people in the film.
Filming taking place over about 3 days between 17th of April and 7th of May.
I am now casting the role of Alora (a contemporary ballet dancer Aged 18-25) for my graduate film "My Dear Alora".
This short story follows Alora as she rehearses for her final performance, having been diagnosed with a terminal illness. The story mainly takes place within the rehearsal studio and Alora's bedroom at home. Please find the script attached.
For this role l need a dancer and able to choreography dance routine
