Mountain Kingdom (Audio, 2020)
An epic fantasy piece for orchestra, inspired by a favourite book of mine.
I wanted to craft a score for an epic fantasy story, in a similar vein to Howard Shore's score to "The Lord of the Rings", by using leitmotifs. For my story, I chose "The Farseer Trilogy" books by Robin Hobb. This piece was written to a specific scene in book 2, "Royal Assassin", and contains 2 themes for Queen Kettricken, a danger motif and a theme for Galen.
