SYNOPSIS:
Ministry of the Mind (2019) is an anecdotal story around the balance between work and play and the detrimental effects the imbalance can cause to mental wellbeing. HE/HIM has been pragmatic and hardworking since a young age when he had an epiphanic moment of wanting nothing else but success. However, when the embodiment of productivity and efficiency, THE MINISTER, becomes a permanent addition to his head space, the ship begins to rock and the aftermath is revealed.
ROLE - THE MINISTER:
Hugely enigmatic and energetic, a natural born leader and in many ways a salesman. The living personification of productivity, whose very job is to enforce that on a human mind. Very much cool, collected and springy until he loses control, at which point things crack apart quickly. In contrast to this large and loud personality, nuanced emotions of guilt, shock and remorse also required.
