SYNOPSIS:
Ministry of the Mind (2019) is an anecdotal story around the balance between work and play and the detrimental effects the imbalance can cause to mental wellbeing. HE/HIM has been pragmatic and hardworking since a young age when he had an epiphanic moment of wanting nothing else but success. However, when the embodiment of productivity and efficiency, THE MINISTER, becomes a permanent addition to his head space, the ship begins to rock and the aftermath is revealed.
ROLE - HE/HIM:
A young and ambitious creative professional struggling with work-life balance, that being there’s far too much of the former. Plenty of pent up emotion and stress behind an outward appearance of frantically busy, politely awkward and very, very tired.
Actor will double up this role with a portrayal of the same character’s mind, held captive by an imposing figure, muted and powerless and similarly worn out.
No particular appearance necessary.
