A magical shop with a door that no one uses, with a salesperson who seems to never sell a thing other than quick words and a joke, yet they still give those out freely. The customers may never buy a thing, but they always leave feeling that bit more content. Who is this magical salesperson, who can make brooms sweep up after them and teacups fill themselves? More importantly what do they do when a customer teleports into their shop unimpressed with the salesperson’s desk-bound singing assistant and magic tricks, and instead is more interested in dispensing with their flatmate?

Character Notes: The Salesperson is the central character of the piece serving as the main driver of both comedy and mystery throughout the narrative. The character is a guiding force in the narrative, as is clear from the end of the film they serve as the main tool in delivering the message of the piece. Their delivery is somewhat like a ringmaster at a circus, cheerful yet making sure the show goes as they planned.
