Intrusion (Short film, 2020)

Written by Caius McCrone, produced by Tommy-Joe Brown, directed by Sophie Sandor and executively produced by the National Youth Film Academy, INTRUSION is a tri-segmented vignette style comedy-drama set in a near-future dystopia that displays the lives of an ensemble cast as they deal with the bizarre reality of their new lives under the overbearing yet elusive powers that be. 

INTRUSION expresses the timeless threat of government to our individual freedom, alluding to authoritarianism in its many forms -- from nanny state laws to curtailments on free speech. Depicted in a darkly comedic fashion, it is also an indictment of the current climate and public discourse, not least because it has been conceived in, and partly inspired by, lockdown life!
