"Indelible Lives" is a stylistic emotional realist drama short film where a 16-year-old girl explores her sex appeal with the help of her influential friend. When her single mother discovers that she’s been illegally selling raunchy images of herself online - the aftermath that follows, threatens to tear their otherwise harmonious relationship apart.
This production will be Covid-19 risk assessed, and all crew will follow strict procedures taught by Screenskills. All crew will be tested before production begins. Covid-19 supervisors will be present throughout the shoot to ensure the safety of the cast and crew at all times.
While these are non-union and unpaid roles, this is a great opportunity to obtain screen experience as well as work with talented filmmakers. Travel expenses, accomodation and catering will be provided.
Rachel is a 32-year-old single mother who wants a life for her daughter that she didn’t have. She has a close relationship with her 16-year-old daughter Mya. That is until Rachel accidentally discovers Mya is illegally selling raunchy images of herself online. This shocks Rachel and she predicts the worst, driving her to try and stop Mya from going down that path.
Rachel is caring, emotional, passionate, impulsive, and brave. Rachel works from home as an artist. She has a Bohemian style, and she smokes marijuana to assist with her creativity. (Actor will not be required to smoke any marijuana or tobacco).
