An agoraphobic travels to a remote cottage to collect a puppy. Discovering the lonely seller has no dog, he realises there are worse places to be than outside.
This is a strange and shocking little film that promises to be an awesome project. I have at my disposal an incredibly talented crew, all committed to creating a tense, disturbing and (at times) darkly comic piece of cinema.
The role I am looking to fill is for the protagonist, JAMES (35-45), an anxiety ridden, agoraphobic, single man who undertakes the nerve shredding drive to an isolated cottage to adopt a puppy from the lonely and intense, Poppy (50). After a confused conversation, a failed attempt to leave and a grim discovery, James finds that Poppy has no intention of letting him go.
This promises to be an incredibly fun and challenging role to tackle and I hope to have piqued your interest. I have scheduled a prototype/pre-vis for July 12th/13th and then intend to crowdfund for the big shoot at the end of September. The prototype will be two days of shooting. The September shoot will be 2/3 days of shooting. The prototype will be unpaid but we will arrange a fee for actors for the September shoot.
