A BFI Network-funded film exploring cultural differences in childhood.
Floating Pomegranate is a story about cultural differences in childhood. The story follows a foreign girl – Nika, who is thrust into British culture and learns about the story of the tooth fairy, a common childhood myth. Nika will stop at nothing until she meets her tooth fairy – and luckily for her, Ni- ka’s brother has a loose tooth. However, Nika’s parents have never heard of this myth. Floating Pomegranate follows Nika through her struggle and adventure as she hunts for the tooth fairy and makes the story come true.
We are looking for a DIT/Assembly Editor to join the team for our BFI Network-funded short, Floating Pomegranate!
