Infatuated (Short film)
Infatuated is a twisted romance horror film about a stalker who runs over and kidnaps a popular female streamer.
Ryan a reclusive, degenerate is obsessed with a popular gaming streamer 'RoseGamerUwU' his love for her starts to become more and more obsessive, so much so that he starts to believe that him and her are soul mates and SHOULD be together. Ryan then runs Rose over and kidnaps her back to his house, where in Ryan's mind they pursue a beautiful romantic relationship, but in reality Ryan is dating Rose's dead body. It's not until Ryan kills Simon (Rose's ex bf) that things start to further unravel and Ryan's love illusion starts to unravel.
Simon is the boyfriend of a popular female gaming streamer,(Rose) he is a closet narcissist who pretends to be a caring 'nice guy' but is passively incredibly jealous of Rose's attention, but is only with her because he refuses to work and she makes enough money for him to stay at home. He resents her and his need to be wanted deep down which comes across is small moments of passive-aggression. He treats her as his accessory and lives his life "performing" his looks and personality to be whatever is currently popular. After Rose is hit by a car and taken away from him he realises he isn't fit to live without her as he cannot handle being alone.
