The Great Eduardo (Short film, 2025)
In 1905, deaf magician Eduard risks everything to perform the deadly escape act that killed his father, destined to become The Great Eduardo.
My first short film - an ambitious period-drama setting, with one key restriction: Only 5 lines of dialogue were permitted.
Currently halted in post-production, as of Feb 2026, while I work on other projects. Expected to return to editing in May/June 2026 for completion.
THE GREAT EDUARDO
Set in London in 1905, our story follows Eduard, a deaf magician who risks everything to perform the deadly escape act that killed his father, determined to earn the title of The Great Eduardo.
CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR
Eduard (Lead) - Male (20-30)
Determined to earn the name 'The Great Eduardo', Eduard must battle the demons of his past and present while grieving his parents' death and his loss of hearing.
Alfred (Supporting) - Male (22- 35)
Eduard's older brother. Alfred helps him through his struggles while concealing his own behind a brave face.
Magician's Assistant - Female (18-25)
Confident and poised on stage, she assists The Great Eduardo with his tricks - until she senses something isn't right. (No dialogue)
Crowd Heckler - Male (20-65)
A frustrated audience member, unimpressed with Eduard's early performances, cruelly mocks him for his hearing loss. (One line of dialogue)
Crowd Members - Extra - (25-65)
An audience of all adult ages, dressed elegantly (top hats, suits and dresses) gathered to see 'The Great Eduardo' perform. (No dialogue)

- Location: Cheltenham & Gloucester, Gloucestershire
- These are unpaid roles, but local travel expenses and meals will be covered
