Editor

This is a psychological mystery drama short film that I have written, produced, and directed. The script is 12 pages long, and the story is about a young woman's journey through relationships and self-actualisation. We just finished filming early September, and have some visually stunning scenes in a historical church, a hospital, and a cemetery. There is a lot scope for the editor to bring their creativity to this project. There is also a montage and slow motion sequence in the film, as well as some flexibility in terms of narrative approach given the symbolic elements in the film. The film has existential themes, and has contrasting scenes between the various locations. It would be great to have an editor on board who is experienced in narrative projects with a high degree of psychological and emotional elements. I want us to have conversations and discussions during the editing process about different ways of approaching this film (seeing as it has abstract elements), and it would be great to sit together throughout the whole process. Therefore, I am looking for somebody who lives in either London or in Hertfordshire.
