A period piece music video set in the 1600s, drawing inspiration from English folk horror projects from the 60s and 70s.
Pink Leather combines the performance elements of a more typical music video with a narrative set in the 1640s following the tale of a young woman who discover her lovers betrayal. The film contains possession, rituals, a mysterious ring, and a large burning pyre. Filming has now finished and we are entering the post production stage and looking for talent to bring it to delivery.
I am looking for a experienced prop master to join our crew for our folk horror music video. The video will be set in the 1600s and will involve shooting a series of scenes that convey a narrative featuring two actors throughout the video. This will also be intercut with footage of the band performing in a similar setting dressed in the attire of the narrative. This role will require someone who is a strong historical researcher, a great attention to detail, someone who can obtain props cost effectively and quickly. This will be an essential role for making sure that all props are historically accurate and fit within the tone of the music video. This role allows you to show your creativity and bring 1600s props into life.
