A period piece music video set in the 1600s, drawing inspiration from English folk horror projects from the 60s and 70s.
Pink Leather combines the performance elements of a more typical music video with a narrative set in the 1640s following the tale of a young woman who discover her lovers betrayal. The film contains possession, rituals, a mysterious ring, and a large burning pyre. Filming has now finished and we are entering the post production stage and looking for talent to bring it to delivery.
I am looking for a creative and knowledgeable Offline Editor to join our crew for our folk horror music video. The video will be set in the 1600s and will involve shooting a series of scenes that convey a narrative featuring two actors throughout the video. This will also be intercut with footage of the band performing in a similar setting dressed in the attire of the narrative. This role will include cutting together a cohesive narrative, syncing musicians to an audio track perfectly, working on DaVinci Resolve (preferably), being attentive, and a strong communicator throughout all of production. I would love to see any prior work showing what you have cut from films, music videos, or any forms of narrative edits. The person who takes on this role will need to have lots of availability throughout February and March especially.
