Pink Leather (A Folk Horror Music Video) (Music video)
A period piece music video set in the 1600s, drawing inspiration from English folk horror projects from the 60s and 70s.
Pink Leather combines the performance elements of a more typical music video with a narrative set in the 1640s following the tale of a young woman who discover her lovers betrayal. The film contains possession, rituals, a mysterious ring, and a large burning pyre. Filming has now finished and we are entering the post production stage and looking for talent to bring it to delivery.
We are looking for an actor to play a 1600s man in a period piece music video. His arrogance and financial wealth leads him to impress upon Agnes to charm her with a gift that he gives her. He is tall, confident, and devious so we want an actor who can portray affection through deceit without any audio recording. There will also be a scene in the video in which the character becomes possessed by Agnes and turns to a zombie like state. The role will require the actor to wear period accurate clothing and minimal to no makeup. For this role, we would like to see a cover letter, video reel, and a professional headshot.
