A period piece music video set in the 1600s, drawing inspiration from English folk horror projects from the 60s and 70s.
Pink Leather combines the performance elements of a more typical music video with a narrative set in the 1640s following the tale of a young woman who discover her lovers betrayal. The film contains possession, rituals, a mysterious ring, and a large burning pyre. Filming has now finished and we are entering the post production stage and looking for talent to bring it to delivery.
I am looking for an organized and determined 1st Assistant Director to join our crew for our folk horror music video. The video will be set in the 1600s and will involve shooting a series of scenes that convey a narrative featuring two actors throughout the video. This will also be intercut with footage of the band performing in a similar setting dressed in the attire of the narrative. This role will include managing the production schedule, updating key members of each department of updates, ensure the sets and shoots are being run smoothly and time efficiently, and coordinating the cast and crew. Along with these skills, we are looking for someone who is hardworking, organized, communicative, and passionate about the work.
