I'm happy to provide food and drink during filming. I can also subsidise costs for getting to the university if there are issues with travel. Additionally, the film will be shown at the showcase for the class in June which you are welcome to attend.

Timing:

7 days from 22 April, 2024

Current filming dates are 22nd, 24th, 26th and 29th of April and 1st, 8th and 10th of May. Although scheduling is flexible if you can't make it for every day, this just needs to be worked out before shooting. Timings on each day vary but call time is no earlier than 10am and filming ends no later than 7pm.

This role is for a short film "Don't read into it" that I have written as part of an assignment for the MA Scriptwriting course. It will be shown at the course showcase in June, which is open to the public. The film is being shot at Bath Spa University. I can help subsidise travel costs but access to the campus would be essential.

The film's genre is a comedy which morphs into a thriller. 20 minutes in length with 5 characters.

A bit about the role: Lauren is 21. She's Ashley's long suffering best-friend, her more realistic other half. She thinks Ashley can do better than Josh and honestly just wants to get back to work. As her friends devolve into madness she remains the straight man of the group, exasperated with their antics until the situation becomes more serious.

The character uses she/her pronouns but any non-binary or gender non-conforming actors would be welcome.
