Cries of a Cocoon (Short film, 2024)

Jessica has always dreamed of being a voice for the rare, raw, profound stories that define the human experience. Cries of a Cocoon is the story of countless children and adults worldwide who have journeyed through something that almost broke them. Yet, they forged that into strength and perseverance from the splintered and broken parts of their worlds. This short film was Jessica's submission for her MA in Film and Television: Research and Production at the University of Birmingham, for which it was awarded a distinction.
