Sound Installation featured at Bristol Re:sound. Colston Hall March 2020
Drawing from the landscapes and architecture of Bristol city (UK), structures and textures are developed in an abstracted sonic form.
Mirroring these gritty and granular features, the work reveals the intricate workings of a city through its musical subcultures.
Using archival rave recordings and extreme audio processing techniques, the project offers a multi-dimensional, atemporal perspective of the cities underground music scene.
A concept born from introspection, Constructs is an answer to two questions.
What does club culture mean to an individual?
And how does its meaning manifest externally?
