Ellen, an overachieving law student, gets a work experience placement at a successful telesales company. Little does she know that her eccentric boss Deborah, is actually an impostor and con artist. When Deborah is kidnapped by a hard-core diet group whom she previously scanned - Ellen has to employ the con skills she has learnt in order to save her.
In her late 50s Debra takes Ellen on as her work experience Intern, Introducing her to the world of Cons and Scams. We begin to learn about her eccentric personality, her love for performance and characters within her scams as well as the hints that she may not really be who she says she is.
