A functioning-alcoholic dad seeks his daughter's forgiveness after missing her birthday and killing the family cat.
Arriving home the morning after missing his daughters birthday, a functioning alcoholic dad runs over the family cat. In an attempt to hide it in the backyard he finds himself drowning in the pool. From his perspective at the bottom of the pool, he watches the last minutes of his life unfold.
