More on projectHide project details

Molly has cancer but she’s like, totally fine. More than fine in fact, because her doctor’s told her she has a nice cancer - no chemo, no hairloss, no sickness. But several months later, Molly's no closer to knowing if she’s cancer-free. But that’s fine. She’s fine. Everything’s fine - right?

Cancer B*tch! was written by Hannah Ali Khan and directed by Lydia McKinley. It was performed in 2024 by Petra Joan-Athene at Oxford Playhouse's BT Studio with funding from ACE and support from Offbeat Festival. The play is inspired by Hannah's experience of being diagnosed with cancer as a young woman.

Cancer B*tch! has received funding from ACE for further development and performance in Autumn 2026.
