Classes included acting, movement, voice, dialect, singing, improvisation, stage combat, and scene study techniques.
The Acting Summer Foundation Course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School was a ten-week intensive program that provides a glimpse into life at a leading conservatoire drama school. During this full-time course, I was fully immersed in a curriculum that closely mirrors what current BA and MFA students experience. I had the chance to work alongside BOVTS staff members and practitioners who are actively involved in the theatre, film, and TV industry.
The course was structured around a blend of practical performance projects and masterclasses, giving me a diverse learning experience. I participated in a variety of classes, including acting, movement, voice, dialect, singing, improvisation, stage combat, and scene study techniques.
Whilst here I performed in scenes from a contemporary and Shakespear play.
I completed a 10 week full time acting course at Bristol Old Vic Theatre school last summer and I am involved with Kelvin Players Theatre. My acting style/preference is more subtle realism rather than jazz hands drama, though that's also fun
