The 1960’s were rich with events and social change.

But what about the ordinary people? The hand me down generation who were ‘up for it’ and navigating existing norms against those who resisted the changes?

Those who were caught up – and out, in the contradiction between the superficial freedoms and the reality of convention and rules.

It was still the days when secrets could be kept and fluid identities meant simply moving and changing your name.

Attractive  and charismatic Jack Coburn (40), WW2 POW, is at the helm of the radio station. The revenues are down, his FIL is an old school bully. Announcer Barry Leigh is gay and ambitious for change.  They all have secrets.

Meg Coburn, Jack's wife is 40 and about to birth her 5th child. She will watch her 4 oldest navigate the changes of the 60s. Susan through a conventional marriage, Fliss with ambition in the rag trade, Tom as a solider and Jasper with sexual charm.

And then there is Angie... Jack's secretary. Her secret will rival Jack's and socially she has the most to lose.
